(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Sunday reported another 25 deaths due to COVID-19 after the figures were confirmed by the Director General of Health Services on Saturday, February 19.
Among the deaths reported today, 08 are of males and 17 of females.
While 13 deaths are of elderly people in the 60 years and above age group, four males and eight females in the 30-59 years age group have also succumbed to the disease.
According to the data reported by the Epidemiology Unit, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began has now risen to 15,994.
