(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Railway Department will operate 09 special trains from Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura in view of the forthcoming Poson Poya.
On the instructions of the Minister of Transport and Highways Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, this special train has been added for the convenience of pilgrims traveling from Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura Sacred Area.
The special train will leave Colombo Fort at 12.40 am on October 12, 2022 and reach Anuradhapura Fort from Anuradhapura Railway Station on the same day (12).
Accordingly,
• The special train that will leave Colombo Fort at 12.40 am on June 12, 2022 for Anuradhapura Railway Station will return to Colombo Fort on the same day (12).
• The Special train that will leave Colombo Fort at 09.00 pm on June 12, 2022 for Anuradhapura, will return to Colombo Fort on June 13, 2022.
• The train will leave Colombo Fort at 03.30 am on June 13, 2022 for Anuradhapura and will return to Colombo Fort on June 14, 2022 at night.
• The train will leave Colombo Fort at 04.00 am on June 13, 2022 and return to Colombo on June 14, 2022.
• The train will leave Colombo Fort at 8.50 am on June 13, 2022 and will reach Colombo Fort in the evening.
• The train will leave Colombo Fort at 04.42 pm on June 13, 2022 and reach Colombo Fort on June 15, 2022.
• Train departing from Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura at 06.00 pm on June 13, 2022 will reach Colombo Fort on the morning of June 15, 2022.
• The special train that will leave Colombo Fort at 12.40 am on June 13, 2022 for Anuradhapura will depart Anuradhapura for Colombo Fort on the same night.
• The train that will leave Colombo Fort at 9.00 pm on June 13, 2022 for Anuradhapura will return to Colombo Fort on June 15, 2022 morning.
