(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – A meeting between President Ranil Wickramasinghe and Japanese Ambassador Mizukoshi Hideaki took place at the President’s Office this morning (24).
The Japanese Ambassador, who first presented the greetings of the Japanese Emperor Hironomia Narahito to Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, engaged in a friendly conversation with him.
A special commemorative program jointly organized by the Embassy of Japan and the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation planned for the 6th of September to mark the 70th anniversary of former President JR Jayawardene addressing the ‘San Francisco Peace Summit’ was also discussed.
