(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – State-owned LP gas distributor, Litro Gas Lanka Company has announced the reduced prices of domestic gas cylinders that would go into effect from midnight today.
The prices have been revised based on the recently introduced pricing formula, Chairman of Litro Gas Muditha Peiris said.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg type Litro gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs.113 and the new price is Rs.4,551.
Price of a 5 kg gas cylinder is reduced by Rs. 45 and the new price is Rs. 1,827.
Meanwhile, the price of a 2.5 kg type of Litro gas cylinder has been reduced by 21 rupees and the new price is Rs. 848.
The Litro company states that these new prices are effective according to the pricing formula that is conducted on the 5th of every month.
Accordingly, the new prices of Litro gas cylinders in Colombo are as follows:
12.5kg cylinder – Rs. 4,551
5kg cylinder – Rs. 1,827
2.3kg cylinder – Rs. 848
