(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) –The Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera says he is ready to discuss with parties interested in purchasing urea fertilizer as various parties are expressing different opinions on the urea fertilizer to be provided for the 2022/23 Maha season.
Accordingly, the Minister is ready to hold a discussion tomorrow (Oct 11) at 12.00 am at the Ministry of Agriculture.
Minister Amaraweera requests those parties to participate in the discussion on behalf of the country’s agriculture and farmers.
The Minister said that the relevant discussion is not just for debating but should be considered as a duty for a national interest and it is a discussion to correct if any, deficiencies in the system.
