(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) says 1,398 applicants have passed the Test of Proficiency in Korean language held for the year 2022.
This examination is held for Sri Lankans who have successfully returned after going to work in South Korea, and accordingly 1652 applicants have appeared for this examination.
The interviews for the candidates who passed the examination are scheduled to be held on 09, 10, 11, 12 and 14 of November, and the applicants can come to a branch office of the SLFBE near their place of residence and appear for the interviews.
The medical examination for these applicants will be held from November 03, and the Bureau requests the applicants to visit its official website www.slbfe.lk to get information regarding interviews, dates of medical examination and obtaining police reports.
From January to October 31, 2022, 4,329 Sri Lankans have left for work in South Korea. Among them are 3,481 people for jobs in the industry sector, 795 people for fishing related jobs, 49 people for jobs in the construction sector and 04 people for jobs in the agriculture sector.
