(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka’s largest state owned retail chain Lanka Sathosa has further reduced the prices of seven essential consumer items. Sathosa says that this discounted price will be effective from today (Dec 23) in all country wide Sathosa outlets.
According to this price reduction, price of one kilogram of white sugar has been reduced by 4 rupees, one kilogram of imported potato and onion has been reduced by 5 rupees.
In addition price of, one kilogram of red lentils has been reduced by 11 rupees, one kilogram of local tin fish has been reduced by 15 rupees, one kilogram of chilies has been reduced by 15 rupees, and one kilogram of sprats has been reduced by 50 rupees.
Accordingly, new prices are shown below:
