(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Education has announced that the second phase of the third term for all Sinhala and Tamil government and government-approved private schools will end today.
Meanwhile, the second phase of the third school term for all government and government-approved Muslim schools will end on the 6th of February.
The third phase of the third school term is scheduled to commence on the 20th February for all government and government-approved private schools, according to the Education Ministry.
The GCE Advanced Level Examination will be held from 23rd January to 17th February. Accordingly, the examination will be held for 22 days excluding Sundays and public holidays.
The Examination Department said that 331,709 candidates will sit for the A-level examination this year.
