(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – All the schools which have been given holiday to hold the GCE Advanced Level examination will be reopened for the third term on Monday February 20th.
The Ministry of Education states that the third term will continue until March 24 and the first term of 2023 school term will begin on March 27.
Also, the start of the new school term for the Grade 1 students is scheduled to take place during the first week.
The 2022 Advanced Level examination ended on the 17th February and the Examination Department said the evaluation of the A-level exam paper marking is scheduled to begin in the near future. Once a date is set, the Department will announce which schools shall be opened or closed during the paper marking process.
