(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The first batch of eggs imported from India to Sri Lanka has reached the island early today (23).
This stock of eggs was imported according to the government’s decision to import eggs from India in order to control the price of eggs in this country.
The State Trading Corporation stated that accordingly, 2 million eggs have been imported as the first stock of eggs.
After the tests carried out by the Ministry of Health regarding the stock of eggs brought to the island, they are scheduled to be released.
