CIPM – The National HR Conference 2023

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka is proud to announce the National HR Conference 2023 conducted under the theme “Navigating Dire Straits”. The event will be held on the 21st and 22nd of June 2023 at the Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura.

After a hiatus of three years due to the pandemic, the CIPM National HR Conference returns, promising to be an event of unparalleled insights and experiences for HR professionals, business leaders, and other stakeholders.

The National HR Conference 2023 will be graced by Mr Rolf Blaser, the Managing Director/ CEO of A. Baur & Co. (Pvt) Ltd, delivering the Keynote Speech.

The conference fees are as follows:

  • CIPM Students – LKR 17,000
  • CIPM Members – LKR 20,000
  • Non-Members – LKR 23,000
  • Foreign Participants – USD 200

At the media briefing on the NHRC 2023, held on the 27th of April at the CIPM-Members Lounge, Mr Ken Vijayakumar, the President of CIPM, said that the purpose of having this conference is to introduce novel and effective people management practices that cater for the current issues faced by companies such as the brain drain, improving the productivity and finding solutions to people-based problems. Furthermore, sharing his valuable thoughts on the conference, the Chairman of the NHRC Committee 2023, Mr Priyankara Senevirathne, highlighted the importance of holding an event of this calibre amidst many challenges to help Sri Lanka move forth at this Dire Strait.
