The informal sector workers have been given the opportunity to register on this website through the website www.garusaru.lk. According to this, the workers will have the opportunity to register in relation to twenty fields and each person who registers will have a personal QR code.
Three wheeler driver, car mechanic, artists, beauticians, carpenters, divers, domestic housekeepers, fishing industry, bakery and food delivery, journalist, mason, ornamental fishing industry, painter, plumber, preschool teacher, private bus driver and Through this, it is expected to implement a system that will have sustainable benefits with dignity and fertility for twenty fields that do not contribute to any social security system such as conductors, therapists, tilers, welders.
Manusha Nanayakkara, Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, said while launching the ‘Garu Saru’ website.

Even though the Labor Department was created in 1900, you are not called a professional like public private employees.
