(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, in partnership with Hatton National Bank (HNB), recently celebrated a milestone with the introduction of the 817th HNB ATM atSOS Children’s Village in Piliyandala.
The inauguration event was graced by distinguished guests including Divakar Ratnadurai – National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, Kirthi Hettiarachchi – Deputy National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, Dhananjaya Perera – Deputy National Director & Director Programmes of SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, Gayantha Dalpadado – Director, Head of Fund Development & Communications at SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, Sanjay Wijemanne, Chief Operating Officer of HNB, Chammika Weerasinghe, Assistant General Manager – Digital Business of HNB, Viranga Gamage, Head of Deposits of HNB, alongside other dignitaries from both organizations.
This initiative aims to enhance banking convenience and accessibility for the local community. Reflecting the shared commitment between SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka and HNB to uplift local communities and foster sustainable development, the new ATM supports the community of Kesbewa, Piliyandala, in carrying out their day-to-day financial requirements, hassle-free.

SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka has been actively engaged in providing a stable, family-like environment for children for 43 years, operating 06 Children’s Villages and caring for over 800 children.
