(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Officials from various election monitoring organizations have been summoned to the Election Commission today to discuss the upcoming presidential election.
The meeting will be chaired by the Chairman of the Election Commission.
Currently, there are seven election monitoring organizations operating in the country.
In addition, a separate discussion with the heads of government institutions responsible for providing infrastructure for the election will also take place today at the Election Commission.
Representatives from key institutions, including the Ceylon Electricity Board and the Water Supply and Drainage Board, are scheduled to attend.
