(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – NPP member Lakshman Nipunaarchchi who is next in the list after Anura Kumara Dissanayake will fill the vacancy in parliament.
NPP executive member General Secretary Tilvin Silva had made the announcement while speaking to the media yesterday (Sep. 23).
Silva said Nipunaarchchi is next in the preferential vote list after Mr. Dissanayake and that he would be appointed as the new MP by the Election Commission.
