(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Colombo Additional Magistrate Jeyaram Trotsky today (16) temporarily lifted the travel ban imposed on Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa till December 31, 2017.
Mr. Rajapaksa is scheduled to travel to Hanoi, Vietnam next week to represent Sri Lanka at the Asian Football Lawyers Tournament held between March 23a and 26.
The travel ban was imposed on him over the two cases filed under the Money Laundering Act on Mr. Rajapaksa and 5 others, for purchasing shares of Hello Corp allegedly from ill-gotten funds.
