(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The administration of Sri Lanka’s Rajarata University in the North Central Province has decided to close several faculties in the university due to a viral fever spreading among the students.
Registrar of the University has said that four faculties in the University located in Mihintale have been closed till 26th December.
It has been decided to close the Management, Social Sciences, Applied sciences and Technology faculties.
Over 200 students of the Rajarata University are suffering from a viral fever that is spreading in Rajarata area these days.
Accordingly, the governing body informed the resident students to leave their hostels by 4.00 pm today.
The administrative authorities of the Rajarata University said academic activities will resume on Monday, 27th December.
