(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Higher Education and Highways Minister Kabir Hashim resigned from his post as the United National Party (UNP) General Secretary a short while ago.
He said that the decision was made in order to avail his position to a new office bearer who will be appointed when restructuring the Party.
