President to send three representatives to the UNHRC session in Geneva

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a delegation of three representatives to attend the currently ongoing 40th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva.

The Sri Lankan delegation to UNHRC session will include parliamentarians Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Mahinda Samarasinghe and Northern Province Governor Dr. Suren Raghavan, President said.

The President announced this at a meeting held with the heads of media institutions this morning.
