President makes a donation for education of children of murdered businessmen

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has made a donation for the welfare and the higher education of the two children of the two businessmen of Rathgama who have been murdered.

The President made the donation yesterday (06) when the wives of the two businessmen and their children met the President at the President’s office.

The President looked in to the matter and presented the donation for the welfare and the higher education of the children and the two families, President’s Media division said.

The two businessmen Manjula Asela Kumara (33) and Rasin Chintaka (31) had been abducted and killed allegedly by a group of Police officers attached to the Southern Province’s Special Investigations Unit of police.
