(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Railway drivers and guards are preparing to launch an indefinite strike from midnight today (Mar 27).
According to the Secretary of the Railway Operators Trade Union, P. M. P. Peiris, the strike is planned to protest against the Railway Department over the mechanism adopted by the administration to take disciplinary action against employees.
