(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has taken measures to operate a special bus service for the city workers, who visited their home towns during the festive season, to return to work.
Deputy Director General of SLTB PHRT Chandrasiri said measures have bee taken to deploy enough buses to cover the entire island.
The special bus services will be in operation from the 09th April to 21st April 2019.
Meanwhile, the Railway Control Room states that normal train services will be commenced from today.
In addition, measures have been taken to operate special trains from outskirts to Colombo Fort from today.
Accordingly, special trains will operate from Jaffna to Colombo, from Galle to Maradana, from Matara to Maradana and from Badulla to Colombo.
