(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara has been summoned before the Special High Court hearing a case against former President’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath.
Former Treasury Secretary P.B. Jayasundera has also been summoned to appear before the court over the same case.
Gamini Senarath had been accused of misappropriating Rs 500 million Government funds when Mahinda Rajapaksa was President.
Senarath had reportedly invested the funds in the Helanko Hotels & Spa hotel project.
