(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – The European Union will work in close cooperation with Sri Lanka to promote cooperation in security matters to ensure the security of SL, , Ambassador of the European Union to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Tung-Laï Margue said.
He further said ,that the European Union has always been a close friend and partner of Sri Lanka- in good and in bad times Over the past 10 years, the European Union has provided more than EUR 760 million in development and humanitarian assistance.
