(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The second accused in the murder of Major General Janaka Perera, was today sentenced to life in prison.
The Anuradhapura High Court sentenced the second accused when the case was heard today.
Perera and several others including his wife were killed in a bomb blast in Anuradhapura in October 2008.
The LTTE was blamed for the attack.
