(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy Monday introduced a new mobile app to further enhance the service provided to the consumers by the Ceylon Electricity Board.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy Sulakshana Jayawardena said the “CEB Care Mobile App” software would provide access to numerous services including power outages.
The CEB said the CEB Care app revolutionizes service offering of the power supplier and enable digital experience to consumers on availing services offered including power cuts, interruption alerts, check bill info and online payment.
According to the CEB, the CEB Care is designed to provide improved control and visibility over consumers’ Electricity account and currently deliver following services to end consumers;

– Interruption Calendar
– Check Bill Information
– Check Payment Information
– Make Online Payment
– Usage Estimation
– Bill Calculator
