(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Water supplies will be low and interrupted for the following areas for 16 hours from 6:00pm today to 10 am tomorrow due to suddenly break dawn in main transmission line of Ambathale intake pump house, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
The affected area are Colombo, Dehiwala, Mt.Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawaththa, Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya saba areas, Rathmalana and Soysapura Housing Scheme and Colombo 3,4,5,6 and Hokandara areas will be totally interruped.
And also NWSDB requested the public to call hotline 1939 for any information.
