(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Police Headquarters has decided to promote 102 Superintendents of Police (SP) including Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara as Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP), the Police Spokesman said.
The promotions have received the approval of the Police and Elections Commission as they are being made following a two-year long procedure.
Accordingly, 87 Superintendents of Police, 14 Superintendents of the Police Special Task Force and a female Superintendent of Police have been promoted.
