Thai Airways flight makes emergency landing at Sri Lanka’s Bandaranaike International airport with two dead passengers

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –A Thai Airways plane made an emergency landing at Sri Lanka’s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) early Monday morning after two passengers became seriously ill, according to airport authorities.

The plane, which was flying from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Indonesia’s Surabaya Airport, was diverted to the BIA after the two passengers became ill and made an emergency landing at around 2:45 am today.

However, both passengers were found deceased when the plane landed at the airport, airport authorities said.

The victims were an Indonesian woman and a man.
