(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – The National Centre for Cyber Security has warned of a Google doc phishing scam targeting Sri Lankans.
The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) said that the phishing scam is being circulated using WhatsApp.
The scam is being sent claiming it is from the Credit Information Bureau under the title ‘Naya Sahana 2020’.
CERT says the Google doc phishing scam targets bank account information of Sri Lankans.
The public have been warned not to divulge their bank details on the document.
