(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The number of coronavirus patients in Sri Lanka has crossed the 500 mark Yesterday(26) evening.
The Ministry of Health said that as of late Yesterday evening (Sunday) 523 coronavirus cases had been identified in Sri Lanka.
In total, 63 cases had been identified Yesterday and as of late this evening there were 396 active cases.
The Ministry of Health said that 120 patients have so far recovered from the virus and have been discharged from hospital and there have been seven deaths.
According to the Ministry of Health there are 273 individuals in hospital who have sought treatment on suspicion of contracting the virus.
