(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Cabinet has approved multiple relief measures for the tourism sector which has been seriously affected by the coronavirus.
Cabinet spokesman Bandula Gunawardena said that a cabinet proposal submitted by the subject Minister had been approved.
He said that Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga had submitted a cabinet paper seeking approval for several relief measures for the tourism industry.
The cabinet had considered the proposals and approved it.
