(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The number of complaints filed in relation to the upcoming Parliamentary Elections has increased 5,800 and 213 complaints were lodged in the 24-hour period which ended at 4pm yesterday.
Accordingly 26 complaints were received by the National Election Complaints Management Center over the violation of election laws while the district election complaints management centers received 187. According to the Election Commission, 1068 complaints had been lodged with the national center while the district centers had received 4,746 complaints to date.
