(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Cementing its presence in the region and responding to increased customer demand, Sri Lanka’s leading private sector bank HNB PLC, ceremonially opened the doors of its Haputale Customer Centre relocated at No. 14, Badulla Road, Haputale.
The state-of-the-art customer centre designed to offer customers in and around Haputale a new paradigm in banking services will be open for business every weekday from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. The new premises provide customers with a completely new spectrum of banking services and products.
The customer centre was inaugurated by HNB Assistant General Manager- Network Management, Vinodh Fernando who was joined by Guest of Honour, Haputale Mayor, SampathLamahewa and senior representatives of the bank including, HNB Regional Business Head- UvaSabaragamuwa Region, Susith Perera, HNB Regional Credit Head– UvaSabaragamuwa Region, PrasannaPalihawadana and HNB Regional Operation Head- UvaSabaragamuwa Region, Iranjan Fernando.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, HNB Assistant General Manager-Network Management, Vinodh Fernando commented on the unique relationship the bank had developed with businesses and retail customers in the town: “The new state-of-the- art facility will be ideal for catering to the increasing number of customers, in and around Haputale, we have witnessed across the retail, microfinance and SME business segments. This facility will allow us to offer the best possible services to all those who seek simple, reliable and convenient access to banking and financial services. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with businesses and ensure their development.”
