(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The new 20 rupee coin issued to mark the 70th anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka was presented by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Prof. W.D. Lakshman to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat Yesterday (24).
The commemorative coin issued to mark the 70th anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka is made of nickel-plated steel with a 7-sided shape.
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka announces that 5 million coins will be added to the currency from March 03.
