(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 384 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Thursday.
Among the positive cases identified Thursday are 345 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, 6 of the prison cluster and 33 foreign arrivals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10 pm Thursday, a total of 84,610 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 3,285 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 474 ndividuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Sri Lanka reported five deaths on Thursday raising the total to 489 and 80,836 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
