(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 359 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Sunday.
Among the positive cases identified Sunday are 321 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, 16 of the prison cluster and 22 are foreign arrivals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10 pm Sunday, a total of 85,695 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 3,134 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 609 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Sri Lanka reported five deaths on Sunday raising the total to 502 and 82,059 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
