(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 251 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Tuesday.
Among the positive cases identified Tuesday, 203 are associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, 23 are of the prison cluster and 25 are foreign arrivals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 11:45 pm Tuesday, a total of 90,765 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 2,907 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 410 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Sri Lanka reported one death on Tuesday raising the total to 552 and 87,306 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
