(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Ministry of Trade has introduced a relief package including Rs. 5,000 worth of essential food items for people affected by travel restrictions.
The relief package will be distributed by all District and Divisional Secretariats, Grama Niladharis and Samurdhi Officers in the country, the Ministry of Trade said.
This relief bag issued by the Sathosa outlet chain contains 20 essential items including 15 kilos of rice, 2 kilos of sugar, 5 kilos of flour, 3 kilos of big onion, 2 kilos of red lentils, a kilo of each white sugar and brown sugar among others.
