(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 2,560 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Monday. All the new infections confirmed today are from the New Year cluster.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10 pm Monday, a total of 488,482 COVID-19 cases have been reported 62,756 infected patients under medical care at hospitals and homes, while 414,295 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Monday reported 135 deaths within last 24 hours raising the total to 11,431.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 13,497,826 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 10,579,220 have received the second dose.
