(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 1,056 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Sunday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report Sunday, a total of 610,103 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
While 16,632 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 578,051 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Sunday reported 20 deaths raising the total to 15,420.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 16,641,134 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 13,915,137 have received the second dose. In addition, 5,165,184 have received the third booster dose.
