(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 1,286 new COVID-19 infections were reported so far on Monday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 8:15 pm Monday, a total of 646,034COVID-19 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
While 20,888 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 608,924 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Monday reported 32 deaths raising the total to 16,222.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 16,899,664 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 14,170,683 have received the second dose. In addition, 7,159,638have received the third booster dose.
