(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – A special gazette notification has been issued Monday setting maximum retail prices for several medical devices. Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella has signed the relevant gazette notification yesterday.
Maximum retail prices have been set for intraocular lenses, bare metal stents, drug eluting stents, blood glucose monitoring systems, test strips and pulse oximeters by the Extraordinary Gazette Notification issued by the Minister of Health from yesterday (28).
It is said that this new price revision has been made from yesterday following the price revision made by a gazette notification on 19th August last year.
