(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – President Ranil Wickremesinghe had a successful discussion with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva on Tuesday, the President’s Media Division reported on Twitter.
The President has held discussions on debt management with the IMF Managing Director on the sidelines of UN climate change summit COP27 in Egypt.
He has also held discussions with Finance Minister of Ghana Ken Ofori-Atta and the Speaker of the People’s Majlis of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed on the sidelines of the COP27, the PMD said.
