(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) –The Department of Government Information has announced that from January 1, 2023, facilities have been provided to complete the arrival cards by foreigners entering Sri Lanka and departure cards by Sri Lankans leaving the country online.
Accordingly, air passengers have been provided facilities to fill the respective card three days prior to the date of their scheduled flight by visiting the official website of the Immigration and Emigration Department www.immigration.gov.lk or through the website https://eservices.immigration.gov.lk.
Comptroller General of Immigration and Emigration Department, Mr. Harsha Ilukpitiya said this step was taken with the aim of providing necessary facilities to passengers to avoid inconveniences at the airport and carry out immigration or emigration activities easily.
