(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka’s largest state owned retail chain Lanka Sathosa has again reduced the prices of four essential consumer items. Sathosa also says that this discounted price will be effective from today (Jan 12) in all country wide Sathosa outlets.
According to a statement issued by Sathosa, this step has been taken with the aim of providing relief to the consumers.
Accordingly, the price of a kilogram of local Samba will be reduced by 5 rupees to 220 rupees and price of a kilo of Sudu Kekulu will be reduced by 16 rupees to 189 rupees.
The price of a kilogram of Sudu Nadu will be reduced by 7 rupees to 198 rupees and the price of a kilogram of wheat flour will be reduced by 5 rupees to 240 rupees.
