(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – On 11 February 2023 the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Mumbai was invited as Chief Guest to the annual event ‘Kshitij’ at Ramniranja Jhunjhunwala College of Arts, Science and Commerce. The college caters to students from undergraduate to PhD level and has almost 8000 students on their campus pursuing different courses.
The Consul General addressed 350 undergraduate students, faculty and other guest speakers at the event. The theme of the event was ‘Philosophies for the futuristic youth”. During his 30-minute address, he highlighted the psychological, philosophical, social and economic dilemmas faced by the youth and how they could overcome it with dedication, determination and focus.
His address was followed by an active interactive session with the students and faculty members on diverse topics relevant to youth.
