(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tharaka Balasuriya, will undertake a visit to Poland, Romania and Georgia from 13 to 20 June 2023.
State Minister Balasuriya will lead Sri Lanka’s delegations for bilateral political consultations with Poland and Georgia. The bilateral consultations will review the progress of bilateral cooperation with the two countries in various fields, such as trade, investment, tourism, education, IT, employment, culture and sports and explore new avenues for enhancing the existing partnership.
The State Minister will lead a delegation to Romania focusing on streamlining matters related to employment opportunities for Sri Lankans.
On the side-lines of the political consultations and business meetings, State Minister Balasuriya will also meet with relevant high-level authorities in view of further strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between Sri Lanka and the related countries.
