(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) –In an interview with France 24 President Ranil Wickremesinghe said Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring program will be presented to the cabinet Wednesday and expected to be finalized on the weekend.
The debt restructuring program will be presented before the Committee on Public Finance on Friday (June 30) and it will be debated in parliament on Saturday (July 01) and Sunday (July 02).
The President expressed hope that the program will be approved by the parliament and thereafter the rest of the negotiations with the creditors can be started.
