‘Seethawaka Odyssey’ Tourist Train to run every Saturday from 05th August

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Railways has decided to operate Seethawaka Odyssey Tourist Train, which operated only on Sundays since its launch, every Saturday from 05th August.

The weekend special train operates from Colombo Fort to Waga Railway Station on the Kelani Valley line. The journey takes 2 hours and 20 minutes and the train stops at 14 stations.

The Western Province Tourism Board has made arrangements to use this train to promote unknown tourist spots in the Western Province.

Following the same schedule as Sundays, the Seethawaka train on Saturdays will also start traveling from Colombo Fort station at 7.15 am, and it will return to Colombo at 5.10 pm.
